Web Summit is Europe’s largest Startup/Investor conference, and will be held in Dublin, Ireland from 3 – 5 November 2015.
ALPHA is the startup exhibition, for which early stage projects and companies must apply and pitch before being given the opportunity to exhibit. Over 20,000 applications were made and 2,000 applications were accepted. Standards & Legal applied, with its Libryo project, and was accepted.
In 4 years up until 2014, Web Summit grew from 400 attendees to over 22,000 from more than 110 countries. In 2015, the expected turn out is about 30,000. It’s been called “the best technology conference on the planet”, with attendees ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the world’s most exciting startups.
Libryo is an enterprise, software as a service (SaaS) Sustainability Governance Platform, which consists of software, content and live support and consultation. Clients of Standards & Legal will have experienced Libryo, but will know it as the Standards & Legal Platform.
S&L is proud to have been accepted, excited about what we will learn and who we will meet, and glad to be exposed to the global startup scene in a far more direct way. As WebSummit progresses, we will publish updates on this blog, as well as the Standards & Legal social media accounts.
